Note 1-Had crossed flags on hood above the "V" emblem. To add; 6 cylinder cars had only "Chevrolet" script, 283 had same script with a "V" emblem above it and 348 cars had the script with "V" above it and crossed flags above that-all 3.

Note 2-While all 348/409 cars had dual exhaust with specially routed fuel lines to clear the exhaust, any car that was ordered with dual exhaust (any engine) also got the specially routed lines. Also, all 327 cars all came with 3/8" fuel lines and dual exhaust.

Note 3-Voltage regulator only had the 2 bolts on top, bottom hole had no bolt but has a rubber bumper in place of it.

Note 4-348 cars had a "V" with crossed flags emblem.

Note 5-All tachs for this year had no redline.

Note 6-All 1961 & 1962 409 cars were manual transmissions, no automatics.

Note 7-400hp & 425hp 409 cars were manual transmissions only, no automatics. 340hp cars could be either manual or automatic.

Note 8-All 4 speed 409 cars had a column mounted tach w/sender on inner fenderwell
