Notes:

1 Original shocks were gloss black, replacement dealer shocks were gloss gray.

**This part would have orange overspray on it as the engine was painted after the assembly of the clutch/bellhousing unit. No special care was taken when painting.

***The entire wheel started out painted semi-gloss black on all 58-65 models. When a wheel was painted with color, only the front side had paint applied. Some overspray or runs can be found on the backside of the wheel.

1958 - On Belair and Impala models, the front side of the wheel is silver. All other models were painted the body color.

1959-1961 - The front side of the wheels on all 59 to 61 models were painted the exterior body color. This applies to both the small and full wheel cover applications.

1962-1965 - When the standard small hubcap was applied to the car, the front side of the wheel was painted the exterior body color. When the optional wheel covers were installed on the car, the entire wheel remained semi-gloss black.
