Well every once in a while things work out. Listen to this. Got a call from a friend and was invited to assist with a inventory of 409 parts that have been setting for some time in dry storage (locked garage). He wasn't kidding. This is all going to be one lot sale and if we can pull it off we will have a large amount of product to sell. At this time we are trying to get a feel for interest from the forum members before we try other avenues. This is not a cheap deal and will require a lot of resources on our part so we are anxious to see what interest is out there. Here is the list as best as I can tell so far after the initial inventory:
2 QC 814 blocks
2 QB 814 blocks
1 QB 4422 block
1 QB 8068 block
1 348 complete four bar. carb.
All other blocks are stripped of internal assemblies.

10 409 cranks

1 924 exhaust man.
1 925 exhaust man.
1 161 exhaust man
1 162 exhaust man
4 low hp std exhaust man

8 690 heads all stripped 1 is damaged, 1 set is nos but is rusted from storage
8 583 heads
6 817 heads
1 8379 head

7 881 intakes all in great shape
1 4678 intake
1 4468 intake
1 offy 4x2 intake
5 348 3x2 intake cast

1 3721 carb
10 3361 carbs
7 3362 carbs

23 valve covers, some are drippers and most have breathers installed

8 oil pans

1 t10 w shifter

2 m21's 1 is partially disassembled

4 2x4 chrome air cleaners
1 1x4 chrome air cleaner

I'd love to get in on this, but I'm a little geographically challenged. What kind of money are we talking about and what do you have in mind? I would like one of those 814 blocks and a pair of 690 heads.

I might need an oil pan or 2 and 2 good valve covers as well as a 3-duce intake oh and maybe some exh manifolds

Did you get these parts yet? I'm also interested in the 924 & 925 exhaust manifolds and a 3362 carb. Will they be in the Bennington Vt. area if you get them?
