Re my prior post about oil leak at back of engine. Removed engine, sent to rebuilders (who originally rebuilt engine) on May 31/07. He changed frost plug at rear of cam. sealed with epoxy after installing plug?? checked other plugs as well. Bench tested engine under oil pressure. no leaks:clap Engine returned friday afternoon. spent almost all weekend re-installing with my son. Fired it up about 2 1/2 hours ago and ran on jack stands until warmed up. let idle for about 3/4 hour (cam already broken in) NO LEAKS.:clap WHAT A RELIEF:D . Put car back on ground and drove it about 4 miles (7 kilometers):) . parked in garage. put white paper under enfine and let it sit. just checked it no leaks. Now we can drive it like we stole it. REbuilder re-imbursed me $250.00, plus gaskets, plus oil and filter. He was only going to give me $100.00 but felt really bad about my ordeal. He is an automotive gentleman who stands behind his work:bow . Thanks to all who replied to my original post of May 28/07.
The people on this site are the best:hug
Best regards to all

That's great!:beerbang We all know that even the best engine builders can have things go wrong sometimes. It sounds like your guy has a lot of integrity.:deal

I would like to make a motion that Bob give your engine builder a hello and a "free" subscription
