He says its good on gas, a 409 with 2 4 barrels, 4 speed, was that sarcasm? I guess it depends on your definition of "good on gas"?:brow :brow

I would say that "Good" and "Gas" can be used in the same sentence describing a dual quad 409 car, I'd say this about mine; this car is "good" to "gas retailers", it wants to stop at every gas station and have it's owner do a little business, more than 50 bucks worth sometimes. But good on gas is not a description I personnally would use.

If I was looking for fuel economy I doubt my search would include a dual quad 409:rofl

Somebody asked me once, "What kind of gas mileage do you get with this car" I said about three, they gulped and said "three miles to a gallon, my god" I said no, three gas stations, I can pass up the first two, but I pull into the third if I don't want to run out of gas.:rofl :rofl

I just have to throw this in! We had an American La France fire engine that had a 700+ inch Contential gas engine in it. We did a mileage check on it to compare it to the desiel engined rigs. 2 gals to the mile! Honest, 2 gals to the mile so if he has something like that maybe a 2X4 409 would look good.:rofl Roy

No where does he claim it's an original 409 car, which I have no doubt it isnt.

Looks like a nice car to me. The car has a six cylinder vin, 63 block, Muncie transmission and the wrong shroud. I don't think he is missrepresenting the car and looks like people who buy from him have been happy. My question would be why does he place his items on Ebay in Canada? :dunno :dunno
