'62 impala grill guard

I've had my hands on several of the reproduced pieces from Classic Industries, CARS, The Carshop and the finish isn't very good, (even the counter people said the same about the finish) I'm hoping to find one that is straight and have it replated, than pay for a reproduced one and have to have it replated. I believe the original ones were also made of heavier gauge metal. Maybe I'm being picky:dunno

i not sure how to use this yet but i'm replying about grill guard. I have 1 that my old tag says 63 impala if it's the same. It is difinately straight but will need plated as it has some rust on bottom,inside corners where they all rusted. Would send you e-mail picts. as i don't want to mis-represent it.
Again, it needs plated to be good.
