I finally received my replacement oil pump today. Gary (GOSFAST) alerted us awhile back concerning a design change on Melling's M-55 and M-55HV pumps. I sent an e-mail to Melling in March, expressing my concern. A fellow named George Richmond got back to me, and told me to send my (inferior design) pump back, and they would replace it, with a newer design, they have produced, to rid the marketplace of the previous pumps, GM thought would be better.:doh After waiting 2 month's, I must say, it was worth the wait. Melling addressed the main problem, with the mounting pad, by adding more metal to this area. This is a first class company, that will go out of its way, to take care of it's customer's. If anyone is stuck with the crappy design pump, send George an e-mail. They will take care of you.:clap :clap Skip:)
