I read in a car rag the other day that the Muscle car engine dyno tests that were on speed tv were a set up by the Chrysler guys. Seems everybody built the engines like they were asked except the Chrysler guys. They found out the producers of the show were not car guys and would run anything that came about. I guess it was a full blown race Hemi on the dyno and none of the producers noticed. Article said the Mopar web sites were laughing and talking about the hit before the show aired. Also heard the mail was overwhelming.
