BJ,
Back in '04 at the GM Nationals, the Royal Pontiac's were on display. I took these pictures. I may have some more that I could email you.

Hey thanx Tommy and DQ.......

The 60 Tommy has here was the #2 car, I'm specifically looking for pix of the red '60 Catalina that Wangers drove.

There is a pic in his book "Glory Days......" but it only shows one
side of his red 60..........guess I'll have to dig up some old Hot Rods.......

This pic has another pontiac behind it with a parachute on the back. Looks pretty sweet.

BJ:

I've seen a couple of B&W pics of Jim Wangers' 1960 Royal Super Stocker that cleaned house at the NHRA Nationals. Jim ran a 102.04 in 14.14 seconds. Not bad considering the kind of tires they had then :). Got a shot from the LH side and the RH side. Appears to be a "bubbletop" car, right? I know he ran a 2 door sedan also, think that might have been the '62. Got a nice shot of that '62 along side of Dave Strickler at Indy Race Parkway in the 1962 NHRA Nationals. Of course, Dave was driving the '62 Ammon Smith car, Old Reliable :).

Cheers!
