Hi, does anyone know if the mini or gear reduction starters that are sold by Summit and others fit the 409 block? In their catalogs, they only list 153 or 168 tooth and not by engine size. I would like one to bolt directly to the block via the threaded mount holes. Thanx for your help

33Chevy, Go the 348-409 engine section,, Use search feature and type in " starter" Lots of information and suggestions on the mini starter.

Hi, I don;t want to be a nusiance but could not find an 'engine section'. Only on the home page was a place to type in a search question, but that did not cover the starter question. Could you guide more? thanx

168 tooth, stagger bolt pattern. That's what I have in mine. Just make sure the tooth count on the flywheel/flexplate matches. Much cheaper on Ebay.
