I had never heard of Jr Brown, but he plays a great steel slide guitar and knows the words to THE SOG, so he can't be all that bad. When was this cut?

those "Guys" in the backround are the original Beach Boys without Dennis Wilson.

Brian Wilson and Gary Usher wrote 409. Brian is singing on the way back. Gary Ushers 348 engines sounds were used for the original 409 song. Gary never owned a 409 but purchased a Hemi with the money he made off of royalities. Dennis Wilson used to go to the drags with Gary. Gary has his own album of hot rod songs.+
