Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could post a picture of a 63-65 409 3-port fuel filter. A friend of mine found a 3-port at a swap meet but he isn't sure if its a 409 filter. I heard once that Massey Furguson combines used these filters. Also, does anyone know what size the ports are? 3/8, 5/16? Thanks for your help!

This auction was for one:

I saw a tractor once with a 3-port filter but it was a small one with small ports. I'm still looking because I can't afford to spend $177 on one.

I did not unscrew a fitting but it looks like they are 1/8 pipe thread.
This is 1964 340 carb and filter.

Mine looks like Rons above. Mine has an "80" stamped on it just like the one in the ebay link above. I heard there were different numbers used for different types. (can anyone shed light on these numbers???)
I think the one I have may not be "correct" for my 400hp but I got it on ebay for $40.00 smackers and wasn't complainin'. :D

Mine also has "80" stamped on it just above the return line.
A 5/64 (.078) drill bit WILL go in the hole, a 3/32 (.093) WILL NOT. I think the orfice is probably .080 and is stamped as such. I don't have anything exactly .080 to check for sure.
My parts book shows 2 different filters, (if I am reading this right) one for the 400 hp that takes the element no. AC-GF-204 and the rest take AC-GF-201.
That seems a little odd. If anyone would like to look at the part numbers, I can scan and post.
