Well, here is a side bar for you. Since we put the 2 four barrels on the 348, I am reading 16 volts on my (chinese dash gauge)voltmeter. We changed the voltage regulator (which was brand new) naturally, same thing. I am going tonight with an accurate digital meter and make sure there really is 16 volts floating around in my cars electrical system, but what would cause this? :dunno
