Rookie rocker arm question

Hey guys,
I appreciate the welcome to my intro post.

I was wondering if big block (454) rocker arms will work on a W engine, if the rocker arm bossed are reworked to take screw in 7/16 rocker arm studs? Are the roller rockers that are available basically 454 rockers or something completely different?

Larry, Have bosses milled down the same as rocker stud nut thickness. Usually about .300. Use 7/16 studs and common big block ( 1.7) rockers.

That's what it looked like to me, but I wanted to double check. I figured it had been tried before. I've got to get some pushrods and I figured if the 454 rockerarms wouldn't work, I'd order some rockerarms at the same time. I've got a shop full of 454 stuff sitting around, so I'll put some of it to work.
