Hello,
I have two AFB carbs front and rear part number 3720 what is the correct date code and horsepower of engine for these carbs?

Ted, I believe that is a number for the 300hp 327. My memory is bad but I'm sure Aubrey will know if others dont chime in first.

64-65 327's, 300HP automatics, and maybe back to 62 (don't know if it had applications other than that). In Corvettes, it was only used with the Powerglide, likely the same with the other Chevies. The lower HP 327's used either a 4GC or a WCFB.

Even number auto, odd number MT.
62-63 300hp PG -3460
62-63 300 and 340hp MT-3461
64-65 300hp PG - 3720
64 300 and 340hp -3721
65 300hp MT-3721

The 409 runs strong with them. But when I received the information they were off a small block I thought well maybe they need too go!!!:dunno
