Fuel line question

Can anyone tell me what the (dia) size of the fuel line (from the tank to the fuel pump) is suppose to be in a 58 with a 348 tripower equipped motor?. Was it a 5/16 line or a 3/8 line. :dunno Thanks in advance~ FM


Forgot to also ask... does the line run INSIDE the tunnel or outside?? Thanks again

3/8ths on any engine originally equipped with anything bigger than a 2 barrel. That also required dual exhaust and with dual exhaust the fuel line was relocated to run along the inside of the right rocker. The single exhaust fuel line ran along the inside of the X frame to the X then over the too of the frame rail.
Someone will correct me I'm sure.:dunno
