I just priced axle bearing and the price is high! $112 EACH !!! My cost got it down to $99 each
Does any one have a part number from a bearing house? I hate to pay the extra price from an Auto parts place. I`m going to pull them tonite and take them to a bearing house tomorrow to see if they can match them up ,,,,dq
dq - I keep EVERY box end and reciept from parts that I buy. I started that 5 years ago..I have owned the car for 20 years.

dq, you might want to check ebay also. I got a set for my 62 rear and my 57 rear. Paid $45 and $52 for each pair. This was after I called NAPA and was told they wanted $90 each for the 57!

Well it turned out I don`t need them. That was the final noise I need to fix before the long drive the other day. i was looking for a part number from a bearing parts house. they are alway way cheaper then an auto parts store. Thanks,,,,jim
