I have a long stainless steel quarter panel molding that I would like to sll but I seem to have forgotten what it's from! :rofl
Just a long shot but if anyone here can identify it, I'd appreciate it.
I thought it was the one I had from a 1964 Galaxie but just realized that part sold some time ago.
The length of this tells me it's a quarter panel molding for a 2 door.
Thanks,
Bob

Had a brain storm upon waking up. (I think) :rofl
This possibly could be a LH quarter molding from a 1962 Buick Lesabre 2 door. If it is, I can see why I had trouble remembering. I got parts from that car about 3 years ago! :bang
This piece slipped through the cracks and has been doing rafter duty all this time.
Now, I'm searching the entire internet trying to find a picture of a 62 Buick that hasn't been "boyded" up. Aka; trim removed, goofy wheels, etc. So far, no luck...
Anyone have a side pic of a 62 Buick Lesabre? :rofl

Thanks Dick. That was fast. :clap
Is that a Lesabre though? The car I got this from had the molding going right to the door and full length of the quarter. :dunno

I don't know Bob. I did a goggle search for "1962 Buick Lesabre". That was the first side view that came back.

Bob, I have had lots of mid 60's buicks. Lesabor, Electra, Wildcat but don't remember the trim like that. Here is a pick of a 63' Wildcat. Trim is a little different.

Hmm. Starting to doubt myself now. The red one looks like the car but can't tell the profile of the molding. :dunno
