I have a BW T-10 Iron Case Dated K2061. If anyone is looking. This is the case only. No gears.

Dan:
Is that the iron case with the aluminum tailshaft?
You might keep that one as an original backup for your '61. I already have one from a 1961 348 car, but I would note that they are not that easy to find. Most T-10s made just after that were all aluminum, I think.
Good luck!

Tom, I have the correct date code one for my car and I did think about keeping this one but, wouldn't this be for 62' as the date code is K2061? I bought this as it did have the correct date code aluminum tailshaft and then I found the correct date coded iron case. That is why I have this as an extra.

Dan...........iron case T-10's were for 283 and 250HP 327 in 1962. The 300HP 327 and 409's had aluminum cases.
In other words...........you're sorta kinda correct!!!!

Really!!!!! I thought all '62 4 speed's were aluminum and I didn't know a 4 speed was available with the 283. Learn something new every day.

Phil, I was aware of that. My car is a 61' and the case I posted here is a 62'. The case I have for my car is either Nov. or Dec., can't remember off hand, 60' Iron.
