Hey Ron,

wow, what a memory you have!!

I've sold the first 40 sedan, too much work for my lifetime, and have another!! Who'd have thought I'd fine a really nice 40 deluxe sedan in the U.K. Anyway, I am ashamed to say I've done practically nothing to it. I have a friends car in my garage as a paying job at the moment (read last 3 months) and hopefully will get it gone in the next couple of weeks, and get my 40 in. My 348 is 'resting', waiting it's new home, tho the 40 will hopefully be out next Easter for our 'season opener' on Good Friday, but it will be with the Flattie and stock running gear, tho it will have a dropped I beam and big'n' littles. I really want to start driving it, get some fun before I rip it apart for the 348 etc. I know I could mount it to the 3 speed box and banjo rear, but that's not what I want, so a very mild looking 50's rod for a couple of years, then it will go 'bad ***', slammed, fenderwell headers, halibrands and plent of louvres, ahh, to dream. Thanks for asking tho. I'm not sure anyone will be interested in my progress with the Flattie etc, can you wait a couple of years???
