Aluminum Fan Shroud

I saw last week on flea bay there was an aluminum fan shroud-ala z 11. It said shroud was aluminum but mounting brackets are steel. Is that correct? seems odd to me.

As Far as I know You cant spot weld steel to aluminum

That doesn't even look like the real one. Still got over $250 for it. A sheetmetal guy could roll out material like that all day long. Who's buying this stuff.

I read this thread some time back and have been wanting to check out some old info I have. Price sheet from Jan 1, 1963 shows left and Right Aluminum pieces to make the shroud.

Both are LIST prices. What can you buy for that amount now for a Z 11??
