I see Edelbrock, BWR (Who is that exactly?) and Bruneau Performance as makers of 348/409 aluminum heads.

Edelbrock appears to have no price yet.

Aubrey appears to have a decent price on the BWR heads, which I also see frequently marked up and sold by others on eBay.
I can't seem to find a link to the actual manufacturer for additional information.

The Bruneau heads, WOW, $5K!

Do we have any comparison of these various makes?

Flow, valve sizes, vs cost?

Have all reliability issues been sorted out for the BWR and Bruneau heads?
I know the Edelbrock's are too new to know about.

I do some manufacturing of non-automotive goods, I am amazed that so many companies are making such a complex part for such a limited market.
Good for us while it last, but still amazing.:bow

Bob Walla makes the BWR heads. Bob Walla Racing: BWR. www.409raceparts.com

Aubrey Bruneau sells the BWR heads as well as Jack Gibbs

Lamar Walden has offered a Z-11-style top end for several years.

There is also another pair of 690/583 heads in the works. Not sure when those will be offered. They will be sold by Lamar and a few others, too. The developer worked on the Z-11 heads sold by Lamar.

Now there's Edelbrock. Haven't heard when those will be available.
