409 Sleeve

Has anyone sleeved a 409 truck block? If you have how did you handle the notch?
Any info or suggestions would be great

Yes, take a die grinder and cut the notch in the liner after it has been installed. grind it sq. with the cyl. bore and radius the two lower corners. do not taper it, this will leave thin spots. i was always concerned about this repair but it works OK

sorry i don't. the main idea is to grind it in a way as not to leave thin areas that might cause a hot spot in the combustion chamber.
