I never heard of a factory 409 Truck with Dual Quads.
Meanwhile some jealous people love to tease us 409 owners that we have truck motors in our street rods. :cuss
Does it make them feel better that they were beat by a speeding truck?? :stooges

the block in my build is a truck block, I remember reading an article many moons ago that stated the truck blocks were cast with a higher nickel content for less cylinder wear, does anyone know if thats true or was it just another case of a writer talking out his exhaust pipe, Steve

Thats a good one! I think I heard that one too.
What about heads, pistons, C rods, cranks. etc Why just make 1 part stronger??
I wonder if anybody wore a hole in their piston rings yet.

So a stock truck crank is better than a passenger car crank ?
