Based on the exhaust it looks like it is a Cadillac.

i had seen fords converted that way. but looking at the cylinder heads, it clearly wasnt a ford. my friend Nelson Grimes has a caddy powered WW2 Sherman that i recall having the exhaust on top. here is the engine from a 1940 LaSalle.

Yep caddy. I have a friend with a 31' Model A Roadster and the same setup. His Flattie is a 41' Caddy and another friend with a 39' LaSalle that has the same engine as Bob posted with the ceramic manifolds.
