Need Help

I have a friend with a piece of molding that he thought may have been for a 62 Impala. I checked the molding on my car and they are not the same size.

There is no tag or numbers. It is 55 3/16 long x 1 3/16 wide it has a red painted center and has a red rubber like protective covering. Took some pics. any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

base model mid 60's buick le sabre? real close in style to 65 belair. most red coated parts were buick i believe.
