Been thinking for a while about selling my 409 and installing a LS1. It's a fresh 30 over 1965 matching 340 HP 409 with tri pwr. I built it to look like a 348 350 HP for my 61 so it has painted valve covers. The engine has never been run, it was professionaly built by a local speed shop using good parts. Carbs rebuilt using Speed Way's new alum bases and kit includes progressive linkage and fuel lines.. Restored Distributor, generator, new starter, very nice 21/2 manifolds, fuel pump, pullies, nice painted valve covers, new pan, plugs, wires, new water pump, clutch and fan, radiator , rebuilt 605 box with pump, lines and 348/409 brackets.
Also have M20 4 sp with comp plus shifter that was completly rebuilt about 2 years ago. Would consider selling engine without the carbs and manifold, I have original 4 barrel manifold.
Located East of Phoenix, will not ship but will with delivery. PM me and I will be happy to send pictures, numbers etc. If I sell I must have $7800.00 for everything but would consider breaking up only if the engine sells 1st. Don't want to list it on EBay. Larry

Definately a fair price Larry!! Hope someone can use all this!!!

I'd come out but I'm afraid I would be attacked in an air raid!!! I always wanted a FU4 Corsair...........I could use it in a situation like this!!!!:rofl:rofl:rofl

I saw someone attaching a couple of machine guns to the belly of an old war plane a few days ago, kinda looked like Cecil. He's pretty protective of everything 409 West of the Rio Grande. Larry

larry,
I'm not worried about Phil. He's probably too busy trying to get his 409 powered liferaft ready for the big flood.:p
