348 Cam Bearing Interchange?

My machine shop is going to be pressing in new cam bearings next week. Are 348/409 came bearings specific only to our engines or are they shared among other Chevy engines? I looked around a bit but could not find specs documented anywhere.:deal

They are specific for sure. There is oil paasages in the block that have to line up with the holes in the bearings so be very vigal in making sure otherwise you will have oil flow problems to the valve train or lifters. John

The rear cam bearing is the only one that has 3-holes and has to be lined up.
