Looking at purchasing a new mini starter
I am looking at D B Electronics # st 100

Is this what the majority of the members are running

I think mine fryed last night ????

have not got into the shop and really checked it out yet

Roger, tried to call you about starter. I have been getting my mini starter from C&P Auto Electric out of Moore Okla. $100.00 plus shipping. (ph #s 405 7992083 or 405 7992088) Met these guys at Pate Swap Meet 4 years ago. Have had one on the El Camino over 3 years no problem and one on the 409 for 2 years no problem. Call if you need more info.

I got mine fom D B two years ago. They are amazing! The little monster spins my 409 like the spark plugs were out! Even when it is hot.. It was less than $100 to my door step. The GM starters are only good for anchors.

As I recall, they only made one that fit my 64. It was about $70. Sorry, but I don't recall the model ## ...

My vote is also for DB Starter....... they work great!!

I agree the DB unit is super. I think I paid only $55.00 about
two years ago. There shop/sales is in Atlanta, I believe.

One thing with the DB....... when you order it make sure that you ask for the short starter bolts. They automatically give you longer ones with the starter, they must be for small or big block....... but they are to long for our W's.
