I just got my engine from the build shop and want to get a set of headers. Just dont want any fit issues like the guy with the 62 impala. I have a 64 409 425hp with a muncie 4 speed. My exhaust manifolds are worn and not worth fixing again. i have seen a few people using the doug tri Y headers. What are my choices?

I think you can still get a set from Hooker, I don't have any experience with them and don't know how they fit or the cost, or if price is no object you can get a set of Stahl headers, there was a company called warner headers, I would not put them on a car that I was selling to my worst enemy, the best use for those headers would be rusting away in a scrap yard

How high/low does your car sit? Some of the headers on the market will cause headaches if you like to be low.
