Is there an easy way to determine if a 63/64 dual 4 air cleaner is a reproduction?

This is something that I wondered about. I'm assuming that originals are rare/expensive, and the aftermarket idea had occured to me. I figured I'd have to make one out of billet aluminum (ala shelby 427 2x4), but why re-invent the wheel if they have repops?
