New guy on deck!

Hi. Just joined the forum, and looking forward to sharing knowledge with all of you. My ride's a 62 Impala SS convertible, 409/409/4 spd/ Posi, Anniversary Gold with gold interior. Getting some engine work done on it now, and finding out it is a replacement motor with lots of incorrect stuff (which is causing lots of pain trying to get it straightened out...) The car is strictly a cruiser, not a racer, and is nice thus far and will be wonderful when it's right.

Welcome Rocki, Sounds like a great car. Would you share some of the engine problems with us ? We like the motor stuff.

Welcome aboard Rocki the car sound great:beerbang. Just saw another one like your's at a car show last weekend. The guy was telling me that after a certain date or vin # that the Gold cars were getting black seat belts instead of the gold ones. I was not sure how true that was:dunno maybe somone on the forum can clarify that claim.
