Hello! My name is Tyson. I live in Langley, BC and have a 1959 Chevy Parkwood wagon. It's a 348 car, the motor is currently in rebuild stage. I stumbled across this site and was to stoked to read about some stuff aobut the motors I never knew. Hopefully I can contribute any info I have and look forward to learning a bunch that I don't know!

Yes sir, it is. I met a guy that was the owner of it in Yakima, Washington, I think it was. He told me that they elected for the '57 283 for gas economy after the 348 grenaded. Er.....something like that anyway. It was awile ago that I talked to him.

Eventually I would like to do the body work on it, and get er repainted. But I am currently giving the treatment to my other Parkwood. It will be custom with some scallops n fun stuff like that. I just need to get my house in order before I can bring it over from it's storage space. I'm a couple years away.
