hello to all, my name is joe. i have a 1954 chevrolet 2 door sedan that i am installing a 348/th400 in. i'm trying to do it as period correct as it would have been done, even though i was not around back in the day. i know it can be done. i've heard many stories and seen a few pics. problem is, i haven't heard installation stories or seen detailed pics. i'd like to not use a subframe if at all possible, but i'll take everything one step at a time. i've heard good things about this website, and hope i can get the info i'm looking for.
