OK you made me buy the book. But you referenced that there are several "errors and omissions" in the book. This group has got to be the best bunch to provide the "right stuff".

How about a thread with just that???

For starters, on page 187, cam # 3744430 is listed with two different intake and exhaust durations. Which is correct, as listed under 1961 specs or 1963/4 specs.

Also, in the Z11 section, there is no mention that the Z11 came with special front and rear coil springs:

My book says:

Front
62-64 POLICE (2nd design)
63 SPT. CPE (409) (RPO Z11)...(dk. green and white) (1775 lbs)....3824693... 9.59

NOTE: The 425-409 spring was rated at 2020 lbs.

Rear
62-64 POLICE (2nd design)
63 SPT. CPE (409) (RPO Z11)...(coral and coral) (2035 lbs) 3824694... 9.15

NOTE: The 425-409 spring was rated at 1520 lbs.

Additionally my book shows no listing for special Z11 shocks.

Yea or nea????

I think the "By the numbers" series of books are quite good. I did notice some errors with reguards to date coding later W motors. And there is no info about truck engines, but it's still a handy book.
