Problems With Private Messages

Some how my mail box has been "too full" and I have received notices thru email that I was not getting my messages. Sorry about this as I didn't know there could be a problem.

BOB.....is there a limit that one can keep in his file? I guess I thought that any number could survive there!!! Anyway, I've deleted some and received a PM last night.

I received notice that Fran, Wrench, bubbletop61 and oil4kids had sent me PM's. Fran and Wrench, your magazines were mailed this morning if that was what you were inquiring about. Gar and Mark...try again!!!

BOB...let me know if I have to keep my PM's cleaned out on a regular basis!!!!!:D :D :D You are basically dealing with a computor idiot here!!!!!

You must be popular! Im the administrator and don't have near that many! :D LOL

I just checked on this and there is a maximum amount of 70 messages. It is recommended to clean out the Private message folders every so often. I think I will add to the FAQ about that.

Old messages should be deleted to make room for new ones to come in. Be sure to empty the "sent" folder too.


Now I could set this limit higher but I really don't see a need for it. (unless someone has a good reason-if so, just let me know)

Phil, while we're discussing communications snafus, I tried calling you at (816) 587-1109 this Friday afternoon. Do I have the wrong number?

I am planning a trip to Independence, MO this coming Monday to drop off chrome parts, slip by and see if Tony Shaffer will look at my QB block on the brink of destruction, and maybe hook up with you and TomO???

Not real firm on departure times as yet, but I do have Monday the 19th off :)

You guys need a real treat in e/mail, join Earthlink. They will sign you right up for their "Spaminator" spam blocker, and not even tell you they did.

This will hold at Earthlink and/or delete all the nice e/mails you want to get, and forward only the spam, like this morning, over 90 spam e/mails not one non-spam ones got through.

It's nice to know they are looking out for me, and people wonder why others don't like stuff like Earthlink and AOHELL.

Can't tell you current price on the Doug Thorley headers. I think we sold them years ago for $380. But I hear most headers are in the $750 range now. Haven't kept up with that lately!!! Sorry.
