ahhhhh,,, I see ShowCars has them,,,

When should these be changed ? Kinda dumb question,,,I know ,,,but,,, if I change them I would prefer a Hi-Pro version,,,

Does ARP make them ?

What about head bolts ?

I have ARP head bolts and ARP main studs. And of course ARP rod bolts. Yes DQ, ARP makes the windage tray style studs. Bought them through Summit. Mains should be line bored when changing over from bolts to studs.
Head bolt kit ARP-135-3602,
Stud kit, ARP-235-5502.

Thanks fat, Do they only make studs or can you get the bolt style?

I`ve had this block line honed already,,, would I need to have it redone if I use the studs?

ARP makes main bolts also. Due to the different clamping characteristics of the main studs compaired to the main bolts you are supposed to use one or the other when honing. I had my 09 honed using the bolts and changed to the studs with no apparent problems, then again I'm only buzzing my prehistoric Rat to 5500-5800 rpm. Try this Jim, install the mains using the bolts and check them with a bore gauge then install them with the ARP studs and check them again. Or have the machine shop do it for you!

I' m pretty sure the factory BBC bolts with studs are interchangeable.
