value of 340 hp 409

Hi, I came across a 65' 340 hp 409 engine for sale. It has supposedly never been apart and will still run although it will probably need a rebuild. Can anyone tell me what the value of this engine might be? I know it is hard to put a real value on something sight unseen but a ballpark quesstimate would be fine? Thanks:)

This is just my guess but if it's complete I'd be happy if I could get it for less than $2,000

I bought a 63 340hp 409 complete, last year with a muncie 4 speed for $650.00
I let it go with my 62 impala convertible when I sold the car.

I'm shopping for parts for my '64 340 hp and the going rate on just the exhaust manifolds($400), carb($125) and dist.($125) is $650.00.
