A lot has been said and done about strenghtening the driveshaft under our cars. Stronger is always better I know, but did you ever loose a driveshaft or take out the 1310 series U joints when you were racing?? My 09 I think is approaching 400 hp. I may choose to run DOT slicks on the track with an automatic tranny, what do you think?
PS. A U joint without grease fittings is stonger than a greaseable one. If you run the greaseable one, position the fitting so that the grease hole will be compressed as the shaft turns in the forward direction!
