Sun. May 23 Kansas City Hotrod Reunion

Just a note that this Sunday, there will be a reunion of alot of the old drag racers from the Kansas City area will be held at Kansas City International Raceway. Gates open at 10AM and admission is $10.

Back in the 50's and 60's, a group of guys formed the Kansas City Timing Association. I didn't live here then but heard it was a large group. This is a reunion of sorts for all their members. We will be there with a table passing out flyers for our convention. We'll talk alot of "W" stuff I'm sure!! Anyone close is sure welcome to come see the action. Roy, TomO and TomK should be close!!! I know Tony and Donnie shaffer will be there.

Sorry I didn't get this on sooner but hope to see as many of you as possible. DQ...you up for a quick trip to KC?????!!!!

Phil - I attended this event last year and it was a blast. Talked with Donnie and Tony quite a bit. It is well worth making the trip to KC to attend. Tons of photos, trophies, race bills and the sort. There is no doubt that Roy and Tom K would really enjoy the day. I will try to make it out.
