59 and 60 El Camino

Hi,
Does anyone know if the 59 and 60 el camino were offered with the 348 motor??? If so would it have the car style motor or a truck style motor??? Thank you

The El Camino could be had with ANY motor. I remember a guy running a 59 Elky with a 335 HP 348 in 60 and 61. He was a builder as I remember, named Trickle. Name on truck--Trickles Truck. It was a strong runner.
