Didn`t get any answers in the other area so I reposted this ? here,,,
OZ is out of town ,,, anyone???????
Seeing Aubrey`s car without the front bumper got me thinking (yes,, twice this year) about removing my front bumper also.
I know that will remove a bunch of weight but will it be offset in a loss of aerodynamics ?
Got that need for more speed !!!!!

DQ don't worry about front bumper aero dynamitics unless you plan on turning more than 120mph in the 1/4 mile. There is very little effect on the drag at speeds under 120. I was told this by several old timers and remember reading it some where a long time ago.

Thanks QS !! Once I removed it I knew it wouldn`t make an areo difference,,,,
but will sure make a positive diff in weight loss !!

I wish someone would tell this to the auto makers. Maybe they'd stop making those butt ugly egg shaped POS vehicles? :takethat
