Phil

Did you get to Newfoundland/Labrador on your bike??
We left Prince George, B.C. May 19th and got home yesterday.
I kept looking for Missouri plates...................

I think a lot of the wood splitters in Nfd are W powered!!!!

We had a great time.....great people.....ferries are questionable.

I was up there last summer. No W motors, just alot of moose...As for the ferry, well, I seen an old man in a row boat pass us. Boring as the day is long. People were great

I'm just getting around to check some past posts..........

Thanks for asking. We didn't take a bike trip this year......just too much going on!! My wife was really disappointed as this was going to be her first big cross country trip on her own bike. Our road captain, Zeke and his wife came on up to Nova Scotia anyway. I think this was their third trip to Nova Scotia on the Harley. He was 75 this summer and still going strong!!

Keith...we have been to the Harley Shop in Prince George twice now...in the summer of 2000 and 2003. Nice shop and the owner really gives me good service when I stop in. I really stick to the schedule of 3000 miles on my oil changes and Prince George is just right after leaving KC. In 2003 they were real busy when we stopped in...so the owner serviced my bike himself!!

In 2000, we stopped in for the first time and I got a Harley "dealer dot". My wife was buying some stuff from a young lady who worked in the shop. She and my wife kinda hit it off. She was telling Candy that she was getting her new Sportster in a week or so. She was soooo excited. About 3 weeks later, as we were coming back thru Prince George on the way home, we saw in the newspaper that her ex-husband had come into the Harley shop and shot and killed her. We couldn't believe it. What a waste of a young life. Anyway, I still keep that Prince George dealer dot in my leather jacket to this day.....it is just a reminder of her and how short life can be sometimes. I showed it to the owner when we were back in 2003........that was tough.

Anyway, truck409...are you still there????!!! Are you coming next month?? I'll give you a call next summer in Delta Junction.

Shane....just bring the lobster to KC and we'll cook it for you here!!!!

Later....

Thanks for your response. The ex Husband slimeball got 25 years.

If you are coming back through Prince George next year, give me a call
and if I am here will take you on some shop tours. Lots of rods/vintage/
muscle in our town. Phone 250-562-1939.

Also a great guy to visit in Beaver Creek, Yukon..right on the Alaska/
yukon border has some NEAT stuff. Will pass that along later.
