BUS TOURS

LADIES BUS TOUR TO BEAUTIFUL PARKVILLE, MISSOURI
We have a bus scheduled to take the ladies to Parkville, Mo. on September 16th. Parkville is located on the Missouri River and was founded as a trading post about 20 years before Kansas City was developed.
Main Street Parkville still retains its early architecture style buildings. There are many local shops. No mall stores here!! And, Parkville has more diversified restaurants than just about any area in town – from American to Argentinean to Greek to Mexican to Pizza to a local Brewery.
The bus will leave from Embassy Suites at 10:00 a.m. and will make return trips back to the hotel on an hourly basis. The last bus will leave Parkville to return to the Embassy Suites at 3:00 p.m.

We will have 2 buses scheduled to leave the Embassy Suites at the following times: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. The dyno exhibition runs of our 474 CI engine will be at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. In order to keep this schedule, the buses must leave on a tight schedule, so please be prompt on both departures and returns. Tony Shaffer will demonstrate how the dyno works and all the information that is derived from the procedure.
All bus tours, both ladies and guys, will require a $5.00 fee for the bus service
Please use the appropriate sign-up sheets at the Registration Trailer so we can get an idea of the number of persons interested in these tours. We are using a 56 passenger bus for the trip over to Tony's. Tony's shop is in a residential area and will not hold all that many persons at once. So.......based on 56 per bus and 4 trips, we can only have 224 persons take the tour to Tony's. It will have to be on a first come (signup sheet), first served. I'm starting to think that we will have more than that who want to go. SO, IF YOU WANT TO GO, PLEASE COME TO THE SIGN UP SHEET AT THE REGISTRATION TRAILER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We will just try to check your name off the list as you board.....I'm just trying to make it as fair as I can for everyone. The Ladies Tour to Parkville is not a problem as we will be rotating that bus back and forth on a regular basis. Encourage your wives to go to Parkville, it's a neat little town and they will love looking thru all the unique stores and eating establishments!!
