Hanging rods

In assembling a 348 are the rods installed on the pistons so that the insert bearing tangs are toward the outside of the motor. Is this correct? Thanks, Ed

The flange, or heavy side of the rod at the bearing end is to the front of the piston.

Fatride, Thanks for the info. Installing the rods per your instructions
places four rods with insert bearing tangs toward cam and the other four towards outside of motor. Is my understanding correct?
Also looking for other viewpoints. Ed
