i'm looking to upgrade my 1961 348 H-coded motor to electronic ignition, looking for some advice on which units to look into such as brands, websites to order from or shops togo to. also what brand and specifications to use for spark plugs and wires. the motor is basically a virgin to uprades, any advice or tips to tune the motor up for more frequent usage, better gas mileage(ha ha). thank you for your time, and thanks for all the great discussions.

tony, call dave ray aka ignitionman (775-463-1821) if you want to maintain that original look he converts stock point type dist to full HEI's will even curve it for you.
Dont be fooled by some of the junk conversions out there like pooptronix. you want it done right dave is the one to call.

Tony:
I second that suggestion!
Dave's Small Body HEI will do you good. He understands these engines, and will work with you to put together a unit that fits your requirements. Just his "checklist" alone will get you thinking :)
Price is great, workmanship first class, very professional, and he's most knowledgeable.
Hope to see him in KC!
