just wanted to say hello and let you guys know ill be jumping in on the discussion. i dont have any impala's but my father has two and we are looking for some background info for a few projects. im going to get him to join in. my own cars are a 69 camaro and 71 camaro drag car. his are 65 impala ss 327 air completed restoration last year very detailed car, 62 impala ss 409/340 body and paint complete, engine rebuilt installation soon. love the site, thanks for the information.

Welcome to the site. We love the old Chevy's, especially those that came with the "W" engines and had "X" frames. Some of us have other vehicles as well, and in general we have a lot of respect for, and support for, people who acquire, restore, and drive these cars. Hope you like the site (Bob's the best host!) and the discussion threads that come up from time to time. You should get your Dad online and maybe he would care to share some pics of his Impalas :)
