How Loud ?

Just saw some posts on another site regarding Flowmaster and Aero Chamber mufflers. I have been thinking about a new exaust for my 62 09 , and wanted someting a little throatier. I would also like to be able to listen to tunes and hear the important stuff my wife is conveying to me while cruizzin down the road. Any suggestions on a good sounding quiet at cruizzing speed exaust system:confused: ?: Thanks.....SS

I`m running the Flowmaster 50 series.
Interior level is much better then the 40 series but still has the throaty exhaust sound. I can carry on a conversation at 4000 RPM down the freeway.
Go with 3" pipe through the mufflers and 21/2 out the back. Any smaller pipe withh rob you of power,,,,Hope this helps,,,dq
