So the big push is on to finish my house project and I guess this can/does only happen here in America.

I`m having the roof done and chimneys rebuilt and this is a bit like Ellis Island !!

The crew thats on the roof is Mexican and Viet Namese and on the other side doing the chimney are Ukrainians and Romanians.

And then theres my Itialian and partners Canadian blood !!

Where have all the Americans gone?

Those are the Americans. Diversity is what makes this such a special land. Some people call it the melting pot, but I see it as a glimpse into the future.

I hate to be the one to bring this up, but the fact is American don't want to work anymore. We want all the gov. programs to support us in the fast lane. I have been looking for someone to remove the spring tension on a large garge door . I found one guy that will do it but he wants $150.00 for about 15 min. work . Lets see, that is what, $600.00 and hour. I bet if I look a little long I will find someone that doesn't speak english it remove the whole door for half thatamount. That's sad. :( :( :( .

jester,If I lived in New York I would adjust your spring tension for a couple beers :cheers I don't know why an American would want to screw you to adjust your spring tension for $ 150.I do know prices are high in New York but not that much :)
