Looking Forward to Convention

HG (aka Pop) and I (Claire) are really looking forward to the convention. Pop has been a staunch member and lurker for a long time he just can't type. He's really looking forward to meeting new friends and ask his questions in person.
We wanted to drive the '65 convertible, but the 409 wasn't quite ready to ride and we wanted to come in our "full dress blues". Our one-owner "Miss Peach" came with the 327/4-speed and we lucked up and found a great, complete motor, so the change was inevitable.
I'm looking forward to also meeting the "better halves", girlfriends, etc, that also have "stood by our man" during this addictive, costly disease. LOL :rofl I love the cars as much as he does, just don't have the incredible knowledge he has aquired over the years. We have sold and collected pars and cars for over 30 years, buying from Chevrolet when "stuff" was still available. As a former Mr GoodWrench, he ate a bunch of pinto beans :eek: in order to pay for this "stuff", but well, I guess the wait has been worth it.

I think this is going to be a great event. I'm also looking forward to meeting alot of the members. I know there are alot of members that don't post messages but still like to follow what's going on. As you said it'll be nice to meet people in person.
